Shipping Policy Overview
BJ's Closet offers domestic shipping for select merchandise. That means we ship to anywhere in the continental United States.
In general, we do not ship bulky merchandise (i.e. items weighing more than 3 pounds or more). However, if a buyer offers to arrange and pay for shipping for those types of items, we will consider packing the order.
Shipping Rate
BJ's closet charges a $6 flat-rate for shipping. The actual shipping rate of your order is based on the weight, delivery location, and handling costs. You will be only paying for part of shipping & handling costs; I pay the rest.
If you order total is $100 or more, shipping is free. At check out, select "send order" so the free shipping discount can be applied to a special invoice that will be emailed to you.
In the event actual shipping costs exceed what BJ's Closet can absorb, you will be contacted about the difference. If you decide that you do not want to pay the extra fee, your order will be canceled and any payments received will be refunded.
Turnaround
All orders are shipped within 1 - 3 days, Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm. Some items, like fragrances, require special packing and handling.
Carriers
We use the following carriers to deliver our orders:
- USPS
- UPS Ground
Again, we are restricted to which carrier we can use for certain items (i.e. fragrances must be shipped by USPS, UPS does not ship to P.O. boxes or military addresses, etc.)
Order Tracking
If a tracking number is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders using 1st Class USPS mail may not have tracking numbers.
Packing
BJ's Closet takes special care when packing care to prevent damage during transit. Upon delivery, if your order shows signs of damage, you can notify me, but any claims must be filed with the carrier.
